"Good beginner rollers that feel great and last a long time. This review is for the Performance Travel Trac Velodrome Rollers."danimal123
Ease of use
Takes getting used to to, but the "parabolic" design really helps minor front wheel skip-offs. You can still fall off, though, like any roller, so you need to learn the right way and not lose focus even when you have learned how to use them.
Quality of Construction
Mine were purchased used w/ two years of virtually no wear, but I've put lots of hours on them since buying them in 2010 and they've held up great (only needed a new belt after two years of me using them).
Fit
Easily adjustable to a variety of wheelbases.
Comfort
Smoooooooth like any good roller should be.
Adjustability
See "fit" section.
Durability
Sweat resistant and tough. I wipe them down w/ a towel when I finish working out on them, but so far that's it.
Value
Bought them used, so I got a good deal.
Appearance
The bright red rollers aren't as sexy as the polished aluminum of the Kreitler rollers, but hey, nobody sees me on them except me.
Customer Service
Bought 'em used, but never had a problem w/ them either,
Performance
Work very well. Resistance is not quite as high as I'd like...I have to be in the small cassette ring to get any decent resistance, but they work well for balance- and bike-handling skill development.
Strengths
Durable, folding, smooth feel, parabolic shape helps keep front wheel from wandering.
Weakness
Can't get too high of a resistance by changing gears. It's a workout, just not a really tough one.

Ease of installation
Folding rollers, pretty easy to unfold and set up. You do have to move the front roller around so that it's propery positioned for your wheelbase, but this involves loosening/tightening two bolts...and this has to be done on pretty much all rollers. Once it's set, though, you just unfold, get the belt in the groove and go.
