"still recommend it - imagine that with the rebate that just occurred new models will be forthcoming cannot imagine wearing it during a race due to size for training a great tool and timesaver"TriToy
Ease of use
plug and go - totally amazing to come in from run, plug it in and have it download all the data! however the split screen was not as intuitive as I would have liked and HR is small. Need to be outdoors to have it be able to find satellites when you turn it on.
Quality of Construction
solid
Fit
for me fine, but I am pretty average. Comes with a larger strap, but would expect someone either tiny or huge to have problems
Comfort
bulky but not bothersome
Adjustability
see fit
Value
totally worth it
Appearance
pretty ugly. did not get it for its look
Performance
really great for someone who likes technology
Strengths
uploading your run (and bike if you use that component) is simple. worked well in wooded paths, etc
Weakness
HR very small hard to see = but you can set it to alarm off heart rate zones. Just if you want to watch different things have to keep adjusting those settings
- 210 people use
- 6887 workouts logged
- 87596.9 miles / 11179.77 hours logged
Ease of installation
did not bother to read - just plugged it in, charged it up, installed the software and when I turned the unit on it prompted me for personal settings
