"I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. I've owned many pairs of cycling shoes, from several manufacturers, over the years and came to expect that even the best shoes were about as comfortable as bowling shoes. Even my most expensive pair of Sidi's just felt "meh".



From the moment I first tried on the R1's I was amazed at how comfortable they felt. Easily the best pair of cycling shoes I've ever owned. "cnsegura

Quality of Construction

Carbon soles are nice and stiff, buckles are carbon/carbon reinforced. Uppers are extremely comfortable. These are not billed as tri, or sockless shoes, but they are far more comfortable to use w/o socks than the shoes I had previously which were billed as designed for sockless.

Fit

Custom moldable soles, with real arch support. MUCH better than the sad inserts that came with my Sidi's at the same price.

If I could wear these as running shoes, I would.

Strengths

Comfort. Construction. Quality. All very well done.

Weakness

I didn't get stickers or other company propaganda.... Seriously. There is very little to complain about with these shoes.
