"I like the shoe, despite the blister, and am hoping that the extra cushioning will mean less tired feet at the end of my long runs. Wishful thinking? Probably. But since I had a coupon, and this shoe at the discounted price wasn't that much more than what I would have spent on the 2130s, I thought it was worth a try."evad
Ease of use
As long as you don't cross your legs as you run.
Quality of Construction
Generally, all Asics shoes are good.
Fit
Asics always feel good.
Comfort
Blister. See my comments below.
Adjustability
These things called "laces" are amazing.
Value
It is seriously difficult to say with a straight face that any running shoe is worth more than $100.
Appearance
If you really need to know -- white/quicksilver/royal.
Strengths
Incredibly padded shoe compared to the 2120s (and past versions of that same line) that I've always worn. I immediately felt a difference between the Nimbus and the 2130s. Good support, fit felt right. I've always liked Asics, and after also trying Mizunos and Nikes, I chose this Nimbus model.
Weakness
Huge blister after my first run. Partly my fault, as I wore them on a long run, and knew better, but wore them anyway. Why is this significant? Because I haven't had a blister in 20 years, and usually felt no rubbing etc when I stayed within the 2120 line. I felt the inside of these shoes compared to my old ones, and the Nimbus do have an extra piece of padding where I have the blister. I'm sure I'll adapt within a few days. (Knock on wood.)
