"Awesome fast bike. Problems with brakes, stem availability, color availability, and Trek customer service. But when its good, its very good!"Wellington1
Ease of use
This bike is fantastic when it is right, but I have constant issues with the brakes sticking. The rear ones are VERY difficult to adjust because everything has to come off to do the smallest adjustment. I have also had a great deal of trouble putting it in a bike box, and I have broken down all sorts of bikes to travel with over the last 10 years. Trek had no answers for me at all. They kept saying they would look into it -- then I would get an email from someone there saying "we recommend using a bike box that fits the bikes dimensions." No Sh&^ Sherlock.
Quality of Construction
This is a solid bike -- construction is great other than the brake issues. I have had my brake cables redone three times, so I have no idea why they keep sticking.
Fit
This bike fits me better than any bike I have owned before which is why I am not giving up on it.
Comfort
This bike is also more comfortable than any bike I have ridden previously.
Adjustability
Yes and no on this point. Yes, the seat etc is adjustable, but the aero bars are not. There are options for adjustability, but for women, one has limited options. THis is really the downside of the integrated bars. There are lots of options for the stem, but again, one can't order those parts yourself -- need a dealer to do it, and then you need a dealer who really knows the Trek tri bikes or you will end up with the wrong one. Same goes for the aero bars on this puppy.
Durability
Can't say yet.
Appearance
Good looking bike.
Customer Service
Trek customer service on Project one bikes is pretty much zero. The responses I have received indicate the person is totally clueless -- referring me to the Bontrager site to buy a stem (they are not available on the website), and completely clueless when it came to questions about the aerobottle mount (its fits any "standard" bike bottle they kept telling me -- what's the point of having an aero bike if you have to sit up to drink?) and an appropriate bike box.
Performance
when the brakes don't stick, its awesome.
Strengths
Speed, speed, speed and comfort
Weakness
Adjustability, transporting, and the brakes.

Ease of installation
swapping out a stem is a nightmare. You can't just order the part yourself. And my colors were incorrect when I received the bike -- still waiting to get that resolved. Trek are now saying they don't make some colors anymore, but they are still available on the project one website.
