"Great shorts at a value price, no brainer solution to keep your shorts drawer stocked."rframe
Ease of use
Again, they are bike shorts so you shouldn't have too much trouble figuring out how to use them ;)
Quality of Construction
I was really impressed when I pulled these out of the package as the material is thick and feels great. The stitching is heavy duty and lays flat and friction free. The pad is firm and contoured foam that provides great comfort without feeling like a loaded diaper. These are the nicest pair of bike shorts I've owned, without question.
Fit
I wear a size 34" waist jeans and the large shorts fit me pretty good. I have large quads and that's the tightest area on these. The waist is not tight but comfortable. They do have a drawstring. They are also cut relatively high and can be pulled up on the torso a bit for modesty if you do not like a low cut. If you have a little extra "body" around your mid section the higher cut might not want to ride high, but still fits fine.
Comfort
These feel great to wear and provide excellent comfort on the bike. I wear them on short commutes and long rides and they feel great. The padding is century-worthy.
Adjustability
The draw string will help take up any slack as body type changes. The higher cut also leaves some options as to how high you want them to ride up under a jersey.
Durability
I have only had these shorts 2 months but have put several hundred miles on them and they look good. The high quality materials and construction should give them a long life.
Value
Just by look and feel these $40 shorts compete with $60-80 shorts by the big name brands. Nashbar quality and value is fully represented.
Appearance
Attractive basic black shorts with some contrasting stitching. Minimal saggy diaper butt in the cut, so they feel good to wear.
Customer Service
I have not had to do any returns on these shorts, but have had Nashbar sunglasses that they sent me free replacement lenses for when I accidentally scratched them. They were easy to get ahold of and took care o me with no hassles.
Performance
These shorts fit good, feel good, and should last.
Strengths
Great value, allows you to save some cash on a basic consumable biking essential that doesn't feel like you are compromising in quality.
Weakness
None perceived.

Ease of installation
They are bike shorts, so installation shouldn't be much of problem, LOL.
