"If you are looking for a very well-made, high quality, fashionable top that also stands up to real training, this is a great choice. The design of this top is something I've never seen before, and I loved it. It worked great for running and at the gym. Tour Noir Tank This item was sent to BeginnerTriathlete at no cost in exchange for this review."alicefoeller
Fit
OK, so I have to admit that my current fitness is not where it was in my profile pic. I don't have 6-pack abs right now, and in fact, if I'm wearing tight shorts, I even have a bit of a muffin top going on. Naturally I don't want people to see that. I find when I'm going on a run wearing a stretchy, tight tank top, it always rides up and my belly button ends up hanging out. Three or four times per mile, I yank my top down to make sure my fluffy abs aren't showing. The awesome thing about this tank top is that it is super long! The way it is made, it just doesn't ride up, but even if it did, it wouldn't expose my belly because the bottom hem extends so far below the waistline of my shorts or tights.
Comfort
Very comfortable. Clearly this is a tank meant to be worn over a sports bra, because it doesn't have a built-in bra shelf, and even in the pics on their site, the models are wearing a sports bra underneath. Since it was so comfortable and fitted, I did try running in it without a sports bra for the purpose of the review, but even my small aero boobs were not thinking it was a good idea. I did three miles without major discomfort, but after that I've worn a bra with the top. For non-exercise wear, I could get away without it. (And it's so cool looking, I have worn it just for fun.)
Durability
Held up well so far. It's clearly well made. I machine washed and dried with no problems.
Value
This is not a discount top. None of the Sundried apparel is low-cost. Nor would this be a great choice for racing. If you are looking for something you can wear to train and race to get you started at a low cost, this isn't it. But if you want something that will hold up for a long time, that feels great and looks good, this is an excellent choice.
Appearance
I found the design of this top to be novel and fun. The cutout in the back is really comfortable and in a different (lower) spot than I am used to. It showed off the tattoo on my lower back really well, and there was lots of fabric beneath the cutout to cover my waist and stomach.
Performance
No chafing, no bunching. The fabric felt good on a hot day, even though I have the black version. It did a good job of wicking sweat, and worked well with my Camelbak over top of it.
Strengths
The company has clearly put a lot of thought into their products. This top is very well made, and the packaging it arrived in was elegant and thoughtful. Each item came in a zip-top thick plastic bag that could be reused, and the whole thing was packed in a branded drawstring bag. The top is carefully crafted, and the design is novel and interesting without being a pain to wear. It was utilitarian on a run, and also fun to wear around town.
Weakness
I can't think of any improvements, except maybe they could experiment with a built-in sports bra. The fabric is so luxurious, I want it against my skin, but it doesn't work for running without a sports bra underneath.

Quality of Construction
Both of the Sundried products I tried were very well constructed. The first thing I noticed about this tank top was the high quality seams and stitching. Everything is soft and the fabric is high quality and tightly woven.
