"These are not made for Alaskan trekking in winter, but they are great fall-winter-spring gloves for running. The index finger has the electronic device pad so you can use a touch screen, which is great if you are using a running app. They included a small clasp to fasten them together so they don't get lost. They are very thin and easy to slip into a pocket or stuff somewhere if you start to get too warm. They are not insulated enough for severe cold weather, but they would make a good liner for thicker mittens because they are so smooth and comfortable."alicefoeller
Fit
Fits like a glove! :-)
Comfort
Sure soft and comfortable. No rubbing.
Adjustability
None. You have to buy the correct size.
Durability
These held up very well all of last winter. They feel quite thin, but they are well made.
Value
Great price, at least at Costco, where I bought them.
Appearance
People always comment on them. They look pretty sophisticated. I wear them for regular wear in addition to running. I mean, I don't wear them to the opera. But I wear them to and from work meetings.
Performance
The index finger has the special fabric so you can use a touchscreen, and it works well.
Strengths
Touch-screen finger, great fit, well-made.
Weakness
Not insulated enough for very cold weather. I did a 13-mile run in the winter when it was below 30 and my hands never got warm, even at the end of the run. But they are thin enough to work as a liner for a thicker pair of gloves or mittens when it gets down to 20 degrees or colder.
