"A handy accessory for the Forerunner 305, but much more expensive than it should be. Rather bulkly, but you really don't notice it on your shoe."ertman

Ease of use
Just turn it on and the 305 detects it.
(4)
Quality of Construction
Well built. Hopefully it is as waterproof as it looks.
(3)
Value
Pricey for what you get.
(2)
Appearance
It is huge compared to other footpods (see the Nike+ kit for the iPod)
Strengths
Lets you keep track of your miles while running indoors. Auto-synchs with Forerunner 305.
Weakness
It is very inaccurate out of the box (they claim 97% accurate out of the box. My experience is more like 80%.) You have to calibrate it before it is accurate.
It does not turn on and off automatically like the HRM strap and the speed/cadence sensor. You have to turn it on and off manually.

Ease of installation
Doesn't just clip on, so you have to unlace your shoes and re-lace through the mounting holes.
