"Unless you are desperate for a quick way to switch the 305 from your bike to your wrist, a standard "watch mount" is a better value."ertman

No stem mount option available. It's hard to find room for the mount + Forerunner when you are running aerobars.

(3)

Releasing the 305 is a bit tricky.

(3)

I'm worried that the flimsy watch pins (which are designed to break under load, just like any watch pin) will not hold up to repeated use. Garmin "fixes" this problem by giving you 4 extra watch pins in the kit.

The velcro wrist strap is much smaller than the rubber wrist strap it replaces. It's also a lot harder to put on your wrist.

(2)

The velcro wrist strap is not nearly as comfortable as the "stock" wrist strap.

(3)

The wrist strap is just too small. While I can put the standard wrist strap on over top of my winter jacket, the velcro wrist strap has no chance of fitting.

(3)

Velcro? Really? It's going to be useless in a year.

(4)

Not expensive, but not for everyone.

(2)

Make the 305 appear even bigger on your wrist, since it now stands a few mm higher than before.

Nice to have a way to mount the 305 to your handlebars.

No stem mount option. Velcro wrist strap. Sketchy watch-pin mounting.
