"A great watch for teh beginner to intermediate athlete. Lacks some features nessecary for the advanced user. When coupled with the available "PODs" this thing will tell you almost everyting the triathlete needs to know."csainthenry
Ease of use
Every button has functions and sub-functions; I've been using this thing regularly for 6 months, and I'm just now mastering it. I still have to use the manual for some adjustments, though.
Quality of Construction
Looks pretty solid...
Fit
Lots of holes in the wristband = fits everyone.
Comfort
Comfort is ok...the rubber wristband has held up much better than a velco one would, and soesn't aquire the funky smell.
Adjustability
The functions are pretty adjustable, but I wish I could customize the pre-programmed "Smart Coach" function to coincide with my planned workout instead of what they tell me I ought to do.
Durability
I have swam, kayaked, biked, run, worked, and everything else with this dude, and all I have is one white scuff.
Value
I got a great deal...MSRP is $219, and I still think that's pretty decent.
Appearance
I actually get compliments on the way a digital watch looks. Never had that happen before.
Customer Service
I lost my HR Strap and had to get a new one; the manual didn't tell me how to detect the new one, but Suunto's customer service had me going in about 30 seconds.
Performance
This whole thing is a great package that works everywhere but in the pool, and you can get a "Smart Strap" that will even work in the water!
Strengths
Looks good, works great! Easy to use the basic functions.
Weakness
Lack of "Smart Coach" adjustability. Some of the sub-functions of the buttons can be a bit confusing.

Ease of installation
The first time you use this watch, it walks you through a personalized set-up. So long as you have the manual, it is a breeze.
