"I am a neutral heel striker trying to swich to mid foot striker. I loved my Mizuno Wav 9's bu this years model is wider across the top of the foot soI had to find a replacement. I will be using this to train and a different shoe to race, little on the heavy side. It has nice mid foot support and love the way te heel locks in."NavyTRIChief

Put elastic laces on, other han that, what is thee to install?

Well constructed. All seams seem to be well done. Uppers fit nicely and shoe uses a nice heel lock that doesn't seem to rub.

These shoes are replacing my 2007 Mizuno Wave 9's. The guy's at the running store hit this one dead on I believe as a replacement.

Only one ru in them but not a single issue. Well, top of right foot was red but foot is swollen from dropping apiece of sheet rock on it the other day.

Plenty of lace holes including one behind the normal top eye.

I think the price I paid is fitting. Plus I got a 10% discount for being military ;)

Pretty plain but that isn't bad in my book, better than flambouyant!

Will update as time and runs go b.

Excellent replacement for the now wider Mizuno's.

Tongue makes for a tighter fit when sliding on and off but I plan to have a different pair of shoes to race in anyways.
