"A good overall value. Very much on the inexpensive side, great for someone putting together a bike on the cheap or looking for an affordable tri saddle."SevenZulu
Ease of use
Typical ease of use as with any saddle.
Quality of Construction
Probably my only concern is the overall quality of construction. So far with three months of use it is holding up well, but time will tell if I will get only a couple seasons or many more. The attachment of the material on the underside of the saddle by small staples looks like it might give way eventually, but I could easily be wrong about that.
Fit
No problems encountered with fit of saddle on seat post.
Comfort
Saddle comfort is a personal matter. I have never had a comfort issue on any ride with this saddle up to 56 miles so far. Not noticing the saddle is what I want from a saddle. No problems at all with numbness, riding in aero position nearly 100% of the time.
Adjustability
Normal range of adjustments for a bike saddle.
Durability
DURABILITY UPDATE: I have now ridden over a year on this saddle and it still looks as good as the day I installed it. I see no signs of wear. I'm going to give it high marks for durability.
Value
This saddle represents an excellent value if you get it as cheaply as I did ($31).
Appearance
Looks great!
Customer Service
Available from Performance.com. I have always been pleased with their customer service.
Performance
Excellent performance so far. Did one HIM on it, and never noticed any discomfort.
Strengths
Inexpensive saddle has performed well on rides up to 56 miles so far. Comfortable, reasonable weight, no issues with numbness. I've used it mostly in training and in one HIM so far.
Weakness
UPDATED: Initially I was concerned about the durability. However, after 1 year of ownership, this saddle has held up just fine.
Ease of installation
Installs as easily as any other bike saddle.
