"I'd definitely buy these bars again, although a flatter bar would probably provide even more aerodynamics, but might sacrifice some comfort. Depends on what your needs are."Rocco89
Ease of use
Once installed they work great and infinitely adjustable to get a comfortable fit.
Quality of Construction
Seem sturdy and well made.
Fit
Again, you can customize the fit pretty much until your heart's content.
Comfort
Although my neck and shoulders took a little while to get used to the position, the bars were comfortable.
Adjustability
Infinite.
Durability
Becasue they're carbon you have to be a little careful with them.
Value
Not bad for the price, especially considering the weight savings.
Appearance
A little too logo'd up for my taste, but overall not horrible. The carbon look is cool.
Performance
Definitely noticed a difference in aerodynamics.
Strengths
- Lightweight
- Adjustable
- Many hand positions
- comfortable
- Noticeable increase in speed
Weakness
- A little gaudy with the Ironman graphics
- Instructions could be better
- 2 people use
- 2 workouts logged
- 59.51 miles / 3.35 hours logged
Ease of installation
The instructions that came with the bars weren't necessarily the best, but you can figure it out pretty easily.
