"Great cushioning shoe for heavier runners who don't need motion control but be warned...you may run through them quickly."Hawkeye

These shoes have held up amazingly well through their usage as running shoes and then even when they were relegated to "casual wear" shoes. The uppers continue to look great.

Usually Nike's are too narrow for my feet but these seemed to accomodate me much better than other shoes.

I was attracted to the first generation of Vomeros by it's cushioning. When I heard that Nike had produced a second generation, those were the only shoes I tried on. Now that they have a third generation, I'll start there when I get back to my running store.

I noticed that the outsoles tend to wear down rather quickly. It seems like the rubber used doesnt' take pavement well or something. It's not a major flaw, just something to be aware of.
The other "ding" that I'll put on them is more on me. I'm a heavier runner (240#) and I have seen a big decrease in cushioning as I approach 300 miles on a pair. (I'm on my third pair.) That's probably more a problem with me than the shoes but again, something to watch out for.

I have no problem dropping $100 on shoes that cushion like this because they're saving my knees. For someone who needs a good cushioning shoe, try these.

Great cushioning, good for wider feet, extremely comfortable

Outsole durability can be an issue, bigger runners may squish them too much.
