Total Time = 2h 30m 2s
Overall Rank = 61/680
Age Group = Male 30-34
Age Group Rank = 7/61
Pre-race routine:

All gear packed and ready to go. Protein shake, nature's call, suit up and head out.
Event warmup:

Difficult to warm up as we had to be there so early so we could get on the boat. Every opportunity to keep the legs stretched was utilized.
Swim
  • 27m 14s
  • 1500 meters
  • 01m 49s / 100 meters
What would you do differently?:

The current swept me west (towards shore) a lot more than it felt, where the second half of the swim consisted of me trying to keep back on course, which never really happened. I lost a lot of time swimming out by myself for half the race.
Transition 1
  • 01m 22s
Comments:

Very pleased with both transition times. Big improvements over MIT transitions.
Bike
  • 1h 12m 15s
  • 24.8 miles
  • 20.60 mile/hr
Comments:

Bike is improving...
What would you do differently?:

...but still needs work.
Transition 2
  • 01m 1s
Comments:

Very pleased with both transition times. Big improvements over MIT transitions.
Run
  • 48m 12s
  • 6.2 miles
  • 07m 46s  min/mile
Comments:

My run kicked butt, comparatively to the rest of the race participants, although I was looking for sub-45 minute run. The bridge captured a few additional minutes there. Very pleased with my hydration and pace.
What would you do differently?:

Keep running.
Post race
Warm down:

Stretching and lots of water and fluids to replenish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Sighting during the swim.

Event comments:

No massage after the race???
