Swim
Comments: Very muddy, but easy to swim in. Got a little roudy and i got "jumped" a few times. I had to use breast strokes for a lil because i got off course and needed the sighting help. What would you do differently?: Work on sighting, and just keep swimming, more OWS Transition 1
Comments: Had to use the hose/shower to get some mud off. Wasn't my best, had some trouble getting shoes on...but i refuse to not wear socks. What would you do differently?: Practice more. Bike
Comments: Older guys were just pounding me on the bike, i really wanted to pass the ""disc wheelers", but sadly couldnt. I started off FAST, but by mile 7 i felt fatigue in my muscles, and mph dropped to 17 ish, but managed to finish strong, with avg of 20.6 mph. What would you do differently?: Get aerobars, later today i got some clip ons. Transition 2
Comments: Much better, i forgot my belt, but it didnt matter. The lock laces helped. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: The bike really put a toll on my quads and i started to cramp within the first mile....but on the last 1.5 miles and i turned on cross country mode and began to pick people off. Prob went from 7.50 pace to 6.20 pace. What would you do differently?: More speed work Post race
Warm down: Hit the buffets, got my award, stretched, ran bout 1.5 miles What limited your ability to perform faster: Muscle power Event comments: Very well organized, much improved from what i heard. Thanks to the vincentown fire house. Last updated: 2009-06-17 12:00 AM

Got up at 5.30, oatmeal and half a powerbar, drove to race, got a good spot on rack. 15 minutes later this jackhole squeezes next to me.
Not a big warmup guy..meaning i dont run more than 2 miles before a race. I ran about 1.5 miles and stretched, sipped on some water and had a couple blocks.
