Pre-race routine:

Ate breakfast, woke up the family and made the short drive to Opelousas. Did the race with my 14 year old son. He did a couple of short bike rides with me, but no other training. I was really happy with his effort.

Event comments:

I had a great time. It was a wonderful experience to compete in a race with my son. This was my third race and each time I am really amazed at the fitness level of the competitors.
