Swim
Comments: Swam right next to my son. He put his hand on my arm to rest a few times. Talked to him the whole way. Was not sure until last minute if he was going to back out. Could tell he was nervous (visibly shaking at times). Gave him ample opportunity to back out. THE BEST THING WAS TO WATCH LOGAN FACE HIS FEAR..PUSH THROUGH IT, DO THE RACE "IN SPITE OF HIS FEAR" AND COME OUT STRONGER FOR DOING IT. THAT WAS PRICELESS What would you do differently?: nothing. I was happy Logan overcame his fear and DID IT!!!T Transition 1

Post race
Warm down: Walked around..Watched the award ceremony Event comments: Great Race. I was overflowing with pride as I swam, biked and ran along side of my son. As we approached the finish line the emcee announced that Logan Morin "was only 10 years old"...the crowd was very vocal..clapping and cheering him on. He sprinted the last 100 yards. Many contestants gave compliments and kudos when they saw him out there "doing it" Last updated: 2005-09-28 12:00 AM
