Comments: 30 MINUTES ON A SPINNING BIKE. This indoor tri, they didn't have the resistance set and taped down. They told us we could set it wherever we'd like. So I was spinning with a cadence between 150-160!! Traveled 19.1 "miles" after 30 minutes. Transition 2
Comments: 5 MINUTE T2. Ran out of the spinning studio, down the steps, down the hall, and up to the treadmills. Run
Comments: 20 MINUTE RUN. Started at 9.0 mph, up to 9.5 at 4:00, up to 10.0 at 10:00, up to 10.3, 10.5, and finally up to 11.0 for the last 90 seconds. Mile splits: 6:36, 12:01 (miles 2 and 3), 1:23 last 0.25 miles. Post race
Warm down: Hannah and I hopped back in the car and sped off to St. Paul (I had a Vikings game to get to!) We found out later that she did 6 places better than she did in March (from 52 to 46 out of 60), and I placed 1st by ONE point! Close one! And my first "triathlon" win!
