Comments: I ran really good for myself. I ran the second half of the race faster than the first half. I found myself the first couple of miles running at a 8:30-8:40 m/m, but miles 8,9,and 10 I was running between 7:45-7:30 m/m. I finished really strong, and felt great for the whole race. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Did some stretching, then had to leave right away to go to work. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: I really enjoyed the race. This was my first 10 mile race, so with my time, I can't complain. I'm really pleased. Last updated: 2010-01-11 12:00 AM

Had my bagel, with a hard-boiled egg, and coffee.
Got my goodie bag, and pretty much sat in my car til about 30 minutes before race, then got out and did some stretching. Had to walk to the starting line, about 15 minute walk, so a good warm up.
