Comments:

First triathlon so I did not know what to expect. Upset that the people who lined up at the front/outside were slow. Had to really "up" the pace so I could attempt to pass them in an effort to get to the outside. Once I finally got into my stride, had to turn around. Did take the turn wide so I could dodge everyone. On the way back, the people kept swimming in my way.
What would you do differently?:

Try to line up a little more on the outside?

That first hill wiped me out for almost the entire ride. Overall, felt awesome. My ride was way better than expected and I was really happy with my times. The only issue was I could not up the speed for the final portion. It was if my body went on cruise control and I was just along for the ride.
What would you do differently?:

Practice on increasing my speed regardless of my energy level.

The run was at the time that was expected... which is kind of a bad thing. 10 minute miles is about what I can do during training, and was hoping to average a better speed.

Run... Run... and Run!

Drank way too much water.

Event comments:

First triathlon. Really enjoyed the race, but I have nothing to compare this too.
