Run
Comments: Good race, tried my hardest to remember that this was a training run and NOT a race. Only walked once and that was over the huge bridge. Planned to walk over it so that's okay. It was the same bridge that I'm going to have to run over twice for my 1/2 marathon so I'm glad I got to do it before then. Wore my running skirt and it worked perfectly. I love it. Dropped my MP3 player on the ground around mile 5 and had to stop and pick it up. The guy next to me laughed so I just smiled and said, "I needed a break anyway" and went on my merry little way. Man I love races. Got a finishers medal too!! What would you do differently?: nothing really. Post race
Warm down: Walked around. Ate some yucky cold pasta. Caught a cab back to the start of the race. (dumbest thing ever - start at the lake, finish downtown.
