Swim
Comments: I felt like I did as good as I could have in the water. The start was unexpected by most everyone so it was a rush to start swimming. Transition 1
Comments: T1 was horrible. I'm guessing on the 3 minutes because it's a combined time with my bike, but it was bad. A lot of people passed me up that I beat out of the water, I just wasn't used to getting a wetsuit off. What would you do differently?: Practice more with my wetsuit Bike
Comments: Bike was not bad, I found myself daydreaming and slacking a few times, so I would gear up and be fine, so I'm sure I could have shaved at least a few more minutes off of my time if I had better concentration What would you do differently?: Concentrate more on my race pace Transition 2
Comments: Transition here was not too bad. They had a bag waiting for me when I got there with my shoes and shirt in there. I eventually took my shirt off due to chaffing, so I guess I could have done without that. What would you do differently?: Not too much, the help was great Run
Comments: Overall, I was impressed with my time, I think it shows that I could have sped up a bit on the bike and maybe it would have benefitted me more. What would you do differently?: Bike harder and run a little slower rather than vice versa Post race
Warm down: Walked around for about 5 minutes and drank an all sport supplied by the race people What limited your ability to perform faster: Transition #1 was que horrible! Last updated: 2006-02-02 12:00 AM

Showed up early so I didn't have to rush. Parking was rough, so I ended up having to rush a little to get my number on and my bike up and ready. I drank about half a liter of water while I was wandering around.
