Comments: Generally enjoyed this leg. The course wasn't very crowded so got a chance to overtake without drama. What would you do differently?: Get quicker in the mount/dismount. Transition 2
Comments: Need to learn to multi-task. Dropped my bike computer during the run so had to go back for it. What would you do differently?: Not drop my bike computer. Learn to get off the bike quicker. Run
Comments: Loved the run. Feet were a little numb at the start but came good about 500m in. Felt really good and quick from 500m onward. Overtook lots of people :) Post race
Warm down: Walking to the coffee shop! What limited your ability to perform faster: Transitions were slow. Numb feet. Flapping skirt/short. Event comments: This was an excellent introduction to triathlons! I had a fantastic time. I chose this one because I've been nervous about the swim. Given that this swim was protected by a pier, I'm still a little nervous about an open water swim. Next 2 races will give a better indication of my ability in that department.
