Woke up early and loaded the bike.
had a bagel then drove 1hr to race site

quick ride to check the bike with the race wheels

navigate better

got to mount line and went a little past as it was crowded

Had a really good effort on the ride and was mentally into the ride. Women went off first so I was chasing the whole time which allowed me to work hard

developed a cramp/charliehorse in my right calf within the first 1/2 mile. Stopped to massage it but it also caused me to slow my pace.

Lost my age group podium finish on the run :(
