Warmed up for about a mile, and stretched for a bit. Then changed into flats to race.

Comments:

1600 splits: 5:20 (TOO FAST and KNEW it), 5:38, 5:38, 0:39 to the finish (last 200). Looked at watch after 12.5 laps (halfway), and saw 8:30. That meant it was 17:00 pace, but I KNEW I wasn't going to be able to hold on to that pace.
What would you do differently?:

It was a decent race for me overall. Doing so many laps kept me from easing up too much. I MAYBE could have gone harder around mile 2, but that's easy to say now. I hit the line dead.
