Pre-race routine:

Got out of the tent (ugghhh) ate a banana and had some coffee. Had to wait to go to the bathroom, the line was soo long.

Great swim, had the breathing going well, felt better than any swim I have ever had, wanted under 30, and got it.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, I loved that swim. I am not a fast swimmer, so this time is great for me

It was hot, I need to practice long runs on hilly hot days, but how do you do that for a race in May.
What would you do differently?:

Try no to walk at all, and drink more liquid in T2 and on bike

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The crappy weather, too damn hot

Event comments:

The race is great, but the transportation of athlete up and down from campsites, sucked. Next eyar, I will just get a hotel and drive in, I will sleep better and not have to go back to a tent after the race.

Course: Hill right off the bat, killed the motivation. I could have walked faster than I was riding it felt like. Got better once past the park gate, but still hilly and not a smooth road ride.
