Transition Set-up. Breakfast 6:50-7:30. Beagel coffee. 950 Gel Pack

Don't swim novice wave again! Not enough water for wait time. Evident that training came into play.
What would you do differently?:

Not swim novice wave, more water
Continue to train with group, but work in at lease one more swim workout per week.

Mini-Transition: Suit removers with mini transition. shoes prepped with vaseline but still difficult to put on. Awkward to carry suit and empty bottle to transition

Large Transition: Shoes slow. Socks good.
What would you do differently?:

Better prep mini-trans shoes
Quick soda on bike, gum on bike, gloves
Learn how to put shoes on while riding.

Get speed laces. Add one more gel to bike and consume 1mile out. Hydrate on run.

Transitions, lack of consistant training

Event comments:

This was by far the most organized race/event I have ever attended. KUDOS to the organizers! The volunteers were there to help and actually wanted to do so, great energy. Overall a very great event!
