Comments:

The run was fun I ended up starting with a few buddies but ended up running with a girl from my church until about mile 18 she fell off then I met this dude from Canada ran with for several miles then around mile 24 bumped into a girl who trains at the same gym ended up running the last few miles with her... she qualifies for Boston with time to spare!!!
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really I set a PR on this race... but I did notice all my buddies doing pre-race rituals... example: eating GU, drinking Gatorade, stretching, doing a light jog, jumping up & down, etc.... dang it I need a pre-race ritual!!!! All I do is #2...
Post race
Warm down:

sat on the ground and wept like a baby

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Around the half point I felt a blister on my right foot and at around mile 24 that blister popped almost driving me to my knees!!! I didn't want to slow so I just thought of my buddy Kevin who at the last race had blisters under his toenails!!! I forged on at the same pace

Event comments:

The drinks they past out on the course had lids & straws!!!!! And they gave us luggage tags with our medal at the finish line (that was a bit silly)

This race had a pasta feast the night before which was really good

The fan support along the course was great... more people then I would of thought

The post race food could of used some work

The race shirt I would wear in public

Overall: 0/894
Performance: Good
Course: The course was mostly in a residential part of town with plenty of shade (not that we needed it) I can't recall a hill so to me that suggest the course was flat. We had zero wind!!!!.... I talked to so many people along the way who came from all over the US & Canada to do this race!! I understand why it was well organized, flat, & fast
