Comments:

I went in the first wave, and there were 6 of us. Two guys in their 20s and a teenager took off fast, so I started off in 4th. I wasn't gonna kill this thing, especially after just running 12 miles, so I just picked my pace and kept at it. Went over rail ties and then through the wooded trail. Caught the teenager at the top of a hill on the trail and passed. Went over the wall, ran, under the netting, ran, through the tires, and as we approached the super hill, I passed one of the other guys. Went up the hill and then back down, falling on my butt once. At the bottom, I got back on my little pace and passed the other guy. WOO HOO, first place. Ran up a incline and to the parking lot of the police dept where I went through the maze and ran to the fitness stop. Did my 3 sets of 10 and ran to the finish line to win my wave. No one is officially keeping time, so there will be no real results. Lots of fun.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. This was for fun.

Course: This was an "adventure" course. One loop. We had to run to some rail road ties and walk over them for balance, trail run, climb over a wall, crawl under netting, run through tires, jump over cars, go up and down a crazy steep hill, go through a maze and then do a fitness stop of 3 sets of 10 burpees, pushups and air squats, then run to the finish. It was a hoot.
