Swim
Comments: This was my first swim event, and my first Triathlon. I trained for 6 months and I did the Master swim class at the YMCA, and two open water swim clinics and a swim in the ocean on my own. I think I trained well and although I was not the fastest in the bunch, I felt solid. I just focused don getting from buoy to buoy. We had three newbie waves of about 70-80 so did not feel crowded. I waited 10 seconds after the starting horn , got behind folks and just kept a good steady swim. The wetsuit was great, kept me nice an buoyant and I dd not have to kick as much...just nice and steady. It felt good. What would you do differently?: go faster--believe in myself that I can, but i did save my legs--good Transition 1
What would you do differently?: better bike shoe--less stick out of cleat Bike
