Comments: Poor swim performance. Need to work on lots of things. What would you do differently?: I really nned to work on swimming straighter and not being so effected when swimming in crowds. Transition 1
Comments: Took the extra time to put socks on. Was going to go sockless for bike and run; have been training that way. But one foot has a few blisters from training, and I didn't want to take the chance that with the sand on my feet that thing would get really tore up. What would you do differently?: No socks. Bike
Comments: Bike portion went well, with the exception of when I almost crashed trying to get a bottle out of the cage. A few small hills, which is where I seemed to pass a few people. Guess the winter work on the trainer with TrainerRoad helped! What would you do differently?: Be careful when getting bottle out to drink. Maybe push a little harder. Transition 2

Warm down: Walked around; had a few snacks; took it easy. What limited your ability to perform faster: Swim training. Event comments: Very good race overall. HITS did a good job with organization. Thought there might be more participants, but not bad for the first year for the event. This was my first Oly race, and it showed one thing, I need more swim training.
