Pre-race routine:

Oatmeal, coffee, drive to race.
Arrived at 5:30 to set up. That went real smooth and I was only the 10th person there. Set up near bike exit so I would not have to run far in my cycling shoes. Smart move I think.

Considering I only had 3 pool practices, this wasn't bad. Took my time so not to be too tired for the bike.

Ran from pool around T1, got to my bike, dried off, put on cycling cap, shirt (tough with long sleeves), socks, glasses, helmet, shoes. Ran bike to exit.
What would you do differently?:

Warmer weather will negate the need for extra clothing.
