Swim
Comments: This swim was like a floating mosh pit; constant contact the whole way. Couldn't find any open water and couldn't find any feet that that would lead a steady pace and bearing. I think there was more contact in this race than in any other I've done 297/599 OA 115/256 F 13/31 AG Transition 1
Comments: got the swim skin to my waist, cap, and goggles off on the run to TA, then swim skin off, sun glasses and helmet on, then run out to the ride (shoes on bike). fast and efficient. 50/599 OA 12/256 F 1/31 AG Bike
Comments: this was just about the ride I was wanting, just off my 17mph target. since I started in the last wave I had plenty of people to chase and pass, and pass I did, MANY more than passed me. the route was pretty crowded in spots and I saw some people do some stupid things (like crossing the double yellow line) but I managed to follow the rules and stay out of trouble and had a good ride. took my feet out of my shoes before the final turn into the park and then did a nice moving dismount. overall, a good solid ride 271/599 OA 72/256 F 5/31 AG Transition 2
Comments: ran the bike down the hill to my rack position, helmet off, shoes on, water belt/number belt on and then run out to the run. I should have put on the belt while on the run; could have shaved a few seconds more 94/599 OA 30/256 F 4/31 AG Run
Comments: I really do hate this run, not really sure why I race at this venue. there's a hill called "Gatorade Hill" that's just a heart breaker. it's not particularly steep but it's a bit long and just comes at a point where you're pretty well worn down. it broke me a few weeks ago on a training run: had me walking and cramping. my main goal on this run was to get through this hill without giving in and walking. 297/599 OA 95/256 F 8/31 AG Post race
