Comments: I really started out super slow for the 1st 5 miles and picked up the pace after mile 6. My right leg started acting up right at the end of mile 12, I had to stop and stretch. What would you do differently?: Actually complete a training program for a half. I really didn't train for the best results, which is why I made my goal to just finish for my 1st half. For me this was more about having fun and learning. Post race
Warm down: Walking and stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: Limited training. I played around with running this half for a while cause I knew I didn't complete a decent running plan. I do plan on doing this again next year with a time goal. Event comments: Very organized!! I was worried cause didn't bring water to carry but there were so many water stations there was no need to carry water. Plenty of port a potties, great cheerers with wack signs and I even saw a 2 person band playing for us in their driveway of their house!! Awesome experience! Last updated: 2012-12-25 12:00 AM
