Swim
Comments: This was best swim ever! didnt stop, just 1,2,3,breath,1,2,3,sight, repeat. got pulled, pushed a little but stayed focused; navigating current was fun - really showed I can do B2B in FIVE WEEKS! What would you do differently?: sight every 9, focus on body position, relax, exjoy. Transition 1
Comments: this was the longest Tx area ever, hence time. Tx was fine. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: this was a grin fest all the way - flat and fast! probably went a little too hard for run. cadence was high so could have ushed harder gears and gone faster still. Used HEED drink but mixture maybe a little strong as repeating thru run, but not debilitating. Forgot to take feet out of shoes at T2. What would you do differently?: be more aware of pace for race distnace. use less MIO flavor and more water towards end of bike leg. Transition 2
Comments: as above forgot to rpeapre coming into T2 so a little messed up; also very busy and crowded so couldnt clearly see where to stop. What would you do differently?: walk the in/out to note subtlties of course. Run
Comments: did really well even after hard bike effort - again use garmin to make sure running correct pace at start. Watch is mare to put on, had to stop :-) forgot to focus on form and relax but still faired well. forgot last corner so didnt sprint until last 10th mile - shame as would have been best 5k time. What would you do differently?: figure out watch strap; relax more and be aware of course placement - why are they passing me (cause theyre spriting for the fnish - doh!) Post race
Warm down: fruit, water, warm clothes. really busy to headed back to hotel and ate three breakfasts :-) What limited your ability to perform faster: this was a training/prep race for B2B - otherwise I could have gone ahrder. Event comments: this is a big event - get there early so not stuck in lines for Body marking and bus shuttles. There were lots of volunteers, perhaps there could have been more. overall another awesome performance by Setup. Last updated: 2013-09-19 12:00 AM

RUSHED! this was biggest event attended and didnt realize the extra time needed for Tx setup and BM, bus shuttles etc - stayed calm as it was what it was.
NONE - arrived at swim start 3 minutes to spare - so sat in water to acclimatize. felt cold so waved arms.
