Run
Comments: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/493292255 Some fast runners that showed up this year, that's for sure. Every time I do a du I always have to repeat in my head "let the runners go...you'll pass them on the bike." Mile 1: 6:17. Mile 2: 6:52 Mile .1: 6:35 What would you do differently?: Nothing, thought I did quite well. Transition 1
Comments: Had to borrow the bike because Buzz cracked. So I didn't want to do a flying mount on this thing. Wasn't familiar with it since I had just picked it up the day before. Ran with shoes on Bike
Comments: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/493292260 Haven't ridden a road bike in 2+ years so that was a bit different. The headwind was just incredible turning onto Hurley Hill Rd. Was averaging 26mph until that point. Once on that road had a hard time maintaining 16. Drained me pretty good leading into Dug Hill Rd. Dug Hill Rd is the devil. Straight up and just nonstop. I'm sure it would have been much easier if I had Buzz. I couldn't stand and climb as the frame was rubbing the wheels under such torque and I also didn't have my lowest gear as it would shift in then shift out immediately. Transition 2
Comments: No flying dismount, wasn't comfortable doing it on a bike I wasn't familiar with. Run
Comments: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/493292264 I'll admit that at when I saw how far the guy in front of me was and how far the guy behind me was at the turnaround I let off a little bit. Too far ahead and too far back that no one was catching anyone. Post race

Wow, a LOT of people didn't show up because of the weather. Can't say I really blame them.
