Comments: Felt confident with swim and as I was in second bunch I got to draft a bit then kicked for the finish, 5th out of the water in the 45+ wave. What would you do differently?: Still need to get goggles with corrective lenses. Transition 1

Comments: I enjoyed the first lap over the bridge as I have never done this before then the waterfront was straightforward as it is part of my training route. What would you do differently?: Nothing except more time on the bike to get faster. Transition 2
Comments: Still think I could do this better. What would you do differently?: Rehearse the order of activities again Run
Comments: As usual wanted to do negative split but didn't despite stopping for the loo on the first lap. My feet felt like they were blistering on the balls but I decided not to stop and fiddle with shoes. Just as well I didn't as my feet were fine when I took my shoes off. What would you do differently?: Find a solution for burning feet. it might have been the walk to the swim start on spikey bridge and surface. Post race
