Comments: Seconds off last years PR pace, felt great in the water. Had a number of drafting partners. What would you do differently?: Duh, more consistent training! Transition 1
Comments: 1:32 slower than last year and I cannot figure out why. Granted this year I was stuck on an end far off to the side with unbalance T entries and lost my rack for a sec as I ran past it, but really 1:32 min! What would you do differently?: Asking for a better T rack next year! Bike
Comments: Near perfect conditions for racing the bike. Nice cloud cover over the ocean blocked the sun out. Very light tailwind for 7.7 mile then light headwind coming back. No HRM this year as I lost the strap but RPE was pretty dialed in from the trainer. Did a lot of legal drafting, amazing the little benefit you can get from that. What would you do differently?: Could have pushed it a bit more in the beginning, was playing it conservative for the 1st 2-3 miles but felt good and picked it up some. Better training consistency would have been faster, never rechecked CP. Transition 2
Comments: OK only 12 sec off with the bad rack location. Took a bit to put on the running shoes as I wiped my feet bottoms, then grabbed all my wearable's and left putting my visor and belt as I was running out. Flying dismount was perfect, caught two guys coming down the chute into T2 but they were didn't boggle the dismounts to cause a mess. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: GPS watch wouldn't get started, button has been acting up so I ran naked. Had several guys in AG around me from the start so I made sure not to lose them once my legs came to me after half mile. Was passed by 2 guys that I couldn't re-catch, ran down two others and passed another. What would you do differently?: I could have gone out faster, wish I knew my splits because that last mile was fast trying to catch the one guy, came within 5 yards. Post race
Warm down: Water, talking and beer! What limited your ability to perform faster: Inconsistent training and bad T1 Event comments: Plenty of post race food and beer (all free). Much better crowd control and early body marking & chip pickup line was well organized. Didn't think i'd like the new run finish but I did. Last updated: 2015-06-09 12:00 AM

Woke up at 4:10, brewed the coffee and started foam rolling. Eat a bagel with PB at 4:45 with coffee #2. Picked up BD at 5:15 and drove to the event and started the process of getting to T. Ate a Peanut butter Powerbar about 45min before the race started.
Lot's of hello's!
