What would you do differently?:

Make sure that my goggles were better. As soon as I jumped in my right goggle filled up with water. I swam the whole 2.4 miles with one eye closed ha!

be more competitive now that I have actually completed an Ironman and know what to expect from my body

course was very hilly and had some potholes at times
What would you do differently?:

I took my time on the bike. Next race I would train better for the bike and push it to cut down a lot of time on the finish. Spending more money on the bike literally buys time.

I ran the first 8 miles fine and started realizing I was in the winners crowd so I took my time and walked a lot.
What would you do differently?:

Next time I would train to try to run the whole race competitively.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Mentality. In my head I just 'wanted to finish' and that dictated my results. The next time I decide to do it I would train better and spend more money on better equipment.
