Swim
Comments: Did not like having to swim with weeds. That was very disconcerning. The water was very warm. Transition 1
Comments: Good T1 time. There is always room for improvement. Bike
Comments: Lost my water bottle early in the bike course therefore kept a nice pace in order to not burn myself for the run which is my very weak area. Since we were on the left lane the space felt tight. There a couple of guys passing on the right side. I was worried about my water intake. What would you do differently?: I need to change my handlebars they are too high. Transition 2
Comments: Everything was good except I got los in T2. LOL I lost a minute "finding" my way back to run start. What would you do differently?: Pay more attention to the lay out in transition area. Run
Comments: Had a hard time beginning to run. I was able to loosen up a little around mile one. My legs felt very tight and I was very tired. I dug deep in me at the end to sprint to the finish line. That finish line is always very motivating. My nephew came to meet me and run the last part of the course with me. That was really awesome. He had done his first triathlon the day before. He was really enjoying the event. What would you do differently?: I need to get better at running. Having a hard time with my legs from wearing heels all the time. I need to spend more time streching. Post race
Warm down: Drank lots of water. It was very hot. Got something to eat. What limited your ability to perform faster: Overall I have gotten faster. I did 20 minutes less than my previous triathlon which was the same distance. Event comments: It would have been nice to have a drink station on the bike. There was no security at the transition area. I did not like swimming on that lake. The rest of the course was good. Last updated: 2006-08-23 12:00 AM
