arrived later than normal, stayed up too late night before with too much to eat

forgot goggles in car so had to walk briskly back and briskly to start, made it to starting line 2 mins before race start

42nd in age group, 185 overall, long run from water to bike, with 700 bikes with transition area, over ran my row which cost me a few seconds, also, grass clippings were everywhere sticking to feet
