Pre-race routine:

Just a GU with caffeine (not a Roctane) about 15 mins pre-race. (Race was postponed for 30 mins because of lightning.)
Event warmup:

BARELY a jog there. Walked a lot, but didn't do any sprints or anything.

Comments:

Felt OK in the rain until mile 2, and then got too hot. The final mile wasn't as fast as it could have been but that's about it - happy with the first 2!
What would you do differently?:

Try to "work through it" a bit more in the final mile. I was hot and hurting!

Warm down:

Short jog back to car. Stretched a few hours later after PT legs. No issues with legs - things felt OK post-race!
