Walked about .5 mile and Jogged about .25 mile. Did some easy streaching and beep breaths. Had about 45 min. before start.

  • 6.21 miles
  • 08m 35s  min/mile
Comments:

I started out a little fast with the big pack. Had a hard time backing off to goal pace. Run felt good with no pains. Had just the right amount of layers on.
What would you do differently?:

Would have worn gloves
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around for 15 minutes and streached some. Drank some water, ate a begal, and had 4 cookies.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

If I would have kept pace I would of had a better kick at the end. Would of liked to have a neg split on the last 2.2 miles.

Event comments:

With this being my first 10K I don't have anything to gage it by. It was a fun race with lots of help along the way. Only 2 water stations.
