Sunny
Total Time = 9h 00m
Overall Rank = 123/198
Age Group = 30-34
Age Group Rank = 15/23
Pre-race routine:

Wake up 4 hours before race, eat toaster waffle with peanut butter, apple juice. Dressed and got to transition area when they opened (I was the second person in transition and got the spot I wanted). After that, got body marked, got my chip, and just met some new friends - we all talked for nearly 2 hours.
Event warmup:

Yeah, right. I probably should have though. They had pool warmup time, I could have ridden or ran, but I just socailized. I did have my quads cramping up a little, but I think this was more of a mental issue than a actual physical issue - though it may have been a real issue - my calves did cramp up painfully bad after the bike - nutrition?
Swim
  • 07m 11s
  • 400 yards
  • 01m 48s / 100 yards
Comments:

Had people holding me up at one point, lost at least 20-30 seconds having to swim breast stroke as I couldn't pass - they were 3 wide in the swim lane.
What would you do differently?:

Seeded myself faster than I though.
Transition 1
  • 02m 52s
Comments:

Socks are hard to put on wet feet, though this went pretty easily. There was nearly 1 minute getting from the pool to the transition, so I don't think I did too bad.
What would you do differently?:

Practice riding/running without socks.
Bike
  • 34m
  • 10 miles
  • 17.65 mile/hr
Comments:

I was completely unprepared for the ride, having only ridden a couple of times this year. This will have to be an area I work on quite a bit before the next race. The motto will be ride lots...
What would you do differently?:

Ride lots more before the event.
Transition 2
  • 01m 38s
Comments:

This was not too bad, I had jelly legs and couldn't run very fast, but it was a good.
What would you do differently?:

Again learn to run/ride with no socks.
Run
  • 34m 43s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 11m 12s  min/mile
Comments:

The run start was a train wreck. I lost several minutes and put myself into a funk because both of my calves were cramnping up. This took a little bit to work out, and I had to basically stop and get them streched out. Had a couple of points that I needed to walk - I was wiped out by that point, and had issues keeping my HR down to what I felt was an acceptable level.
What would you do differently?:

Brick practices. Run more.
Post race
Warm down:

Really didn't do this (see warmup). I did drink lots of fluids and walked a real little. Also went to finish line to yell for G-Moose.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Socks? Leg cramps (nutrition?/conditioning?) Conditioning. Should have seeded the swim faster - got caught up behind people.

Event comments:

This group put on a first rate tri - equivalent to those put on by larger event promoters.
