Pre-race routine:

We (my wife an me) got up at 6:30am, drank some Gatorade, had a banana and left the house at 7:00am. We live only 5min from the race track by car so this part was easy. Managed to find the parking spot easily and walked to the tents. We were the first ones to pick up the goodie bag, walked around a bit and stretched a bit too. It was windy and kind of cold.
Event warmup:

After arriving at the scene I did some usual stretching and walked a bit to warm up.

Comments:

Running was enjoyable, maintained HR160 all the time - it was like the meter was stuck on that number, which is a bit more than training rate for me. Talked to some people during the run - everything was fine except that turning point was not marked!
What would you do differently?:

Can't think of anything - will do it again next year.
Post race
Warm down:

Some walking around and stretching.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Looking at my HR...Need to do some more speed "bursts".

Event comments:

Good band at the end and some other gymnastic show, kind of low key, but enjoyable.

I am not entering the time, because almost everybody ran too far, so the distance is unknown...
Course: Flat as a pancake. Start on SE side of the Soldier Field at 9:00am, first part was around the stadium and then sout along the lake front to the turning point that almost everybody missed! Then back to the stadium North along the same path.
