Comments: I ran about as much as I expected to. Running downhill at the end was fun, as I could last longer than normal before my HR got too high. What would you do differently?: Don't drink Gatorade right before starting. Upset my stomach. Stick to water. Post race
Warm down: Just walked around a bit, chatted with friends. What limited your ability to perform faster: Weight. It just sucks jogging with so much extra weight. But it's coming off! Event comments: Overall I had a great time, even for that early in the AM. (Why can't races be at night?!) Sharing the event with friends made it even more enjoyable, and added to the motivation. Nothing special. Had my typical half-caf iced Americano, and an unsweetened scone. Drank some gatorade right before race, which turned out to be a bad idea...
