Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4:15. Had a Banana. Had a power bar and some gatorade on the way. Took care of business at the rest stop on I95. Arrived at 5:15 a.m. Check in and set up transition area. I was on the last rack closest to the exit of transition so I took advantage of the extra room in setting up transition. Nice!

Comments:

I think the course was long. I swam the majority freestyle rather than breast stroke like last year and I ended up swimming 1:30 slower than last year. Need to work on navigation as I found myself off kilter near the last bouy.
What would you do differently?:

More practice swimming.

Better first transition. I took a minute off of last year. Wetsuit was stuck on my heels so I sat down which I had plenty of room to do because of where I set up transition. Need to work on that better.

Work on getting the wetsuit off faster.

Excellent bike. Averaged almost 20 m.p.h. Big improvement over last year. I would not do much different.
