Run
Comments: ok. Legs were a little tired at end, but it was a training run, and I didn't want to push especially coming off an injury. Maintained 9:00 to 9:30 pace the whole time. 2 hr group passed me around half way, and I didn't feel like hanging with them since they were running faster I think since they were slow in the beginning. I knew I didn't have the strength and endurance in the legs. No issue on cardio side. I thought about picking up the pace for the final 5k to get under 2 hrs, but I figured it wasn't worth it for my first half. 13.1 miles is the longest I have ever run! No issue with the knee. Felt fine the entire race :) Post race
Warm down: Guinness, Half-n-Half, Half-n-Half, and another Guinness at Murphey's. Sweet! What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of endurance/strength Event comments: what's with the A-hole on Saturday not letting people on the beach when the tent party was for friends and family. My gf finally found me and we figured that we could get to the tent via the other entrance on the beach, hence the low organized score. I skipped the party on Sunday for that reason. Our tower of beer cups on Sat was awesome though! Last updated: 2007-11-13 12:00 AM

Woke up at 5am. PB sandwich, ensure, some water.
Walked briskly to the start, paused for anthem, jumped fence to get in corral 2 and gun went off. Perfect timing.
